Fleet Feet Sports Sacramento has supported the local fitness community for 40 years. We are honored to to get to work with great local organizations and to create programs that support the pursuit of fitness for everyone.
The mission of Triumph Cancer Foundation is to recapture lives after cancer through physical fitness. It is the only organization in the Sacramento region that supports cancer survivors with fitness programs. Published medical research demonstrates that not only do participants reduce the risk of recurrence, but cancer survivors report much less exhaustion and overall greater health-related quality of life. Triumph Cancer Foundation and Fleet Feet Sacramento are mission-aligned when it comes to supporting people who want to be active and fit. In 2017, Triumph is the sole beneficiary of the Blue Diamond Almonds Shamrock'n weekend, resulting in thousands of dollars in donations to this great organziation.
We are proud to once again support WEAVE, the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County. WEAVE is the sole beneficiary of the Kaiser Permanente Women's Fitness Festival. Thousands of women gather the first weekend in June to celebrate health and fitness, all while supporting women in our community who seek stability and safety in their lives. It's the perfect match - women supporting women.
Fleet Feet Sacramento supports numerous after school fitness programs, area track clubs, walking programs and high school sports programs with donations to auctions and raffle drawings.
Local Race Sponsorships
Each year Fleet Feet Sports Sacramento supports over 60 local walking and running events by providing marketing assistance and hosting packet pick-ups. Most of these events support local non-profit beneficiaries, providing much needed financial assistance. We are glad to have supported worthy charities such as WEAVE, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Northern Area Dietetics Association and many others including the Sacramento Food Bank Services wherein over time Fleet Feet Sports has donated over $25,000 through the Run to Feed the Hungry.
