Foam rolling (Self Myofascial Release) is another stretching technique that everyone who needs to use in addition to their training regimen. Foam Rolling increases your flexibility, circulation and recovery from training. Using a foam roller on tight muscle changes your elastic muscle fibers change from a bundled (knot) position into a straighter alignment that goes in the direction of the muscle.
This is a hands-on class; please bring a yoga mat and your foam roller to participate. Product will be available for purchase at Fleet Feet Sacramento.
