
Run or walk your way to your first half marathon finish or improve your current time by joining the Cowtown Half Marathon training program. This training program will help you to prepare for the Sacramento Cowtown Half Marathon on October 5, 2008.
Wednesdays - 6:00 pm at 100 Howe Avenue, University Park Office parking lot
Sundays - 8:00 am at 100 Howe Avenue, University park Office parking lot
Some Sunday practices will be held at other American River Trail locations
First group workout is Sunday, August 10, 2008.

All participants should be able to run or walk a minimum of 30 to 45 minutes three times a week by the start of training.
On-line, in-person and phone registration opens June 30, 2008.
$90 per person
Registration fee does not include race entry.

Once you have registered for the program you will begin receiving email updates as the start date approaches. All registered participants should mark their calendars for one of the Kick-off Nights. The Kick-off night is where all specific training information will be handed out including training packets, location/date schedules, seminar dates, etc. You only need to attend one Kick-off night.
