Fleet Feet Sports is delighted to announce our sponsorship of the 2009 Sac-Joaquin Section Cross Country All-Star Team. As the leading specialty running stores in the region, we are pleased to have this opportunity to give area high school cross country runners the recognition they deserve for consistently making the Sac-Joaquin Section one of the most competitive in California.

All-Star Team Details
Soon after the California State Cross Country Championships on November 28, Joe Hartman, who was instrumental in facilitating the Fleet Feet sponsorship, and a committee of Sac-Joaquin coaches will select the best fourteen male and best fourteen female cross country runners from the section (1st Team & 2nd Team Honors). The All-Star team will be then be announced in early December in a press release to area media outlets. The news will also appear on the websites and in email newsletters from the participating Fleet Feet locations (Davis, Fair Oaks, Roseville, Sacramento, Stockton, and Vacaville), in the new Fleet Feet Sports Cross Country E-newsletter, and of course, on Dyestatcal.com.

All-Star Awards Reception
In early January, 2010, Fleet Feet Sports in Sacramento will host the athletes, their families, their coaches and all of the Fleet Feet Sports owners for an All-Star Reception to recognize the members of the All-Star team. Again, local media outlets will be invited to attend.
