Cross country doesn’t get much better then this! The Fleet Feet Open Cross Country race features a grass and dirt 8 km (4.97-mile) course for men and a 5km (3.1-mile) course for women. The race is open to adult athletes of all abilities (no youths under 19, please). Free post-race pancake breakfast (weather permitting). The event is race number 8 on the Pacific Association of USA Track and Field 2007 Cross Country Grand Prix with a $1,500 prize money purse for top open and masters athletes and teams. A flat grass starting straight, short wide uphill, single and double-track packed dirt trails, scenic wetland views, a couple of moderate hills, and a downhill finish: cross country doesn't get much better then this!  Enjoy a fast women's 5 km (3.1 mile) or men's 8 km (4.97 mile) courses in the trees of Granite Regional Park in Sacramento (NEW location in 2007).

Directions & Parking

Granite Regional Park is in Sacramento (NOT Granite Bay). From Hwy 50, exit Howe Avenue/Power Inn Road. Go south on Power Inn about one half mile to Ramona Avenue. Turn left on Ramona and go behind the office complex. The park is below the office buildings and difficult to see from Power Inn.
Plenty of free, paved parking next to the start/finish area.
