Important Announcement Regarding Bathrooms at Howe Ave Location

Dear Trainees,  

It has come to my attention that the porta-potties we have placed at 100 Howe Ave have been continuously vandalized since their placement several weeks ago. We keep locks on the porta potties to keep them as clean as possible and each week we have discovered them cut and the porta-potties in disrepair. It pains me to let you know that after putting new "un-cuttable" locks on them yesterday afternoon, today the porta-potties themselves were discovered with the handles cut - apparently forgoing the need to deal with the locks at all. This angers me to no end. Not only does this create issues for the property management and the porta-pottie companies, but it now forces me to make the decision to pull the porta-potties from this location. I completely understand that this is not a perfect solution and it causes issues for you, the trainees and my main concern. But I also know that coming to a location with vandalized porta-potties does not offer you the VIP experience we work so hard to provide. It is for these reasons that until further notice, there will no longer be porta-potties offered at 100 Howe Ave. Please make sure to utilize the facilities before you arrive for the workout. For emergencies, there is a Safeway just north on Howe ave and  bathrooms along the American River Parkway.

  • Sunday, August 28th @ 7:30 am - Folsom Tourism Bureau: 200 Wool Street, Folsom, CA:  - click here for directions

    • 7am start for the run/walk and walk groups.
    • An aid station will be available for you to top off your water bottles and sample Clif fueling products.
    • Halfway celebration and potluck after your workout!

  • Halfway celebration and potluck: Sunday, August 28th - Please bring something yummy to share with the group to celebrate the halfway point in your training. If you bring something homemade, please be sensitive to any food allergies (nuts, soy, wheat, etc) and provide a list of potential allergy inducing ingredients with your treats.
