New Balance Gives Back

At Fleet Feet Sports, we and our community are lucky to have so much support from our vendor community.  Almost all of our vendors support events, fitness initiatives and great causes in our community.  As we quickly approach the Urban Cow Half Marathon, which New Balance is a significant sponsor of, we thought it would be great to share with you their amazing commitments to our community.

No Boundaries
No Boundaries is a beginners fitness program that started 5 years ago as an initiative to help inactive people learn to love walking and running and the benefits of healthy living.  In those 5 years, No Boundaries programs at Fleet Feet Sports locations nationwide have trained more than 75,000 walkers and runners and here in Sacramento we have trained over 3,000.  To make this program possible and well supported, New Balance has committed over 2 million dollars to No Boundaries nationwide over the last five years. They have done so because they support Fleet Feet Sports and the idea that creating healthier communities is the right thing to do.

Project Fit
New Balance & Fleet Feet Incorporated partner to support grant money for various fitness initiatives nationwide. Fleet Feet Sports Sacramento's Project Fit Youth Fitness Program has been fortunate to receive grants from New Balance the last two years totaling $10,000 in support, in addition significant shoe donations to kids in our local Title 1 (low income) schools.

Urban Cow Half Marathon
New Balance sponsors numerous events in the greater Sacramento area and throughout Northern California.  One of their major commitments is to the Urban Cow Half Marathon.

Fleet Feet Sports Sacramento would like to thank New Balance and all of our vendors as they give back and support our community.
