Reminders: Keep these tips in mind on Boot camp days to help ensure a great workout!
Manage Stress: Exercise = stress. So do screaming kids, traffic and that big work project due tomorrow. But your body can't tell the difference between them. Stress can do a lot of good for your body, helping you adapt, but too much can have a detrimental effect. By learning to manage all the stresses in your life you can better handle anything that comes your way.
Daily Athlete: Attached is a copy of the “Daily Athlete” and “Basic Strength Training” routine. You can download it and have it to take with you in case you miss a class. We will also be using these base exercises throughout the next 8 weeks.
Homework: 50 inchworm pushups. Complete by next week. Do all at once, or spread throughout the week.
