American River Parkway Etiquette: Just as there are "rules of the road" when it comes to driving, there are similar safety rules and etiquette along the trails for walkers and runners. Proper Form: Proper form can make all the difference when it comes to feeling good during your workout. Here are some running and walking form basics that will help keep your workouts safe and effective by building your technique from the ground up.

Proper Pacing: Pacing can be confusing. How fast is too fast? Am I moving too slow? The key is to find the pace that works best for you and your workout. Here are a few tips and tricks to finding your pace.

What's Happening in Training

Proper Form Clinic: Sunday, July 17th at 7:00 am. Join Coach Angelica for our quick form clinic prior to the workout. This a must for first time trainees and a great refresher for returning trainees.

Speed School: Our Urban Cow 1/2 marathon training group has an optional add-on Speed School track training that starts Tuesday Aug 2nd. It will be 8-weeks long, Tuesday evenings at 6pm at Doc Oliver Field in Land Park. We are opening this option up to all Summer 1/2 training participants. This option is designed for intermediate level runners or run/walkers looking for an introduction to speed and track work or to increase their pace. Register today
