Workout Times and Locations

  • Sunday, July 24th @ 7:30 am- Garcia Bend Park: 7654 Pocket Rd, Sacramento, CA 95831  - click here for directions
    • Don't forget a water bottle, yoga mat for recovery after your workout.
    • 7:00 am start for paces 13+ min/mile 
    • Various fueling products will be availabe for you to sample at this workout.

Hydration and Fueling: A hydration and fueling plan is vital to maintain an even performance and enjoyable feeling for the duration of the workout. The longer you run, the more important having an understanding of your hydration and fueling needs becomes. Here are some tips to help you with your hydration and fueling plan.

Exercising in the Heat: Whether you're running, playing a pickup game of basketball or going for a power walk, take care when the temperatures rise. While we have our group workouts outdoors in the hot Sacramento weather, use these strategies and precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.

Electrolytes: Make sure you are replacing everything that you sweat out during your workouts. Here is a great primer to electrolytes and why you need them.
