It's almost time to start training! 

Welcome to our No Boundaries Training program! Thank you for choosing to train with us. 

First Workout

No Boundaries First Workout
When: Saturday, January 7th at 8:00 am 
Where: Fleet Feet Sports Sacramento - 2311 J Street (workout directions)

  • Come pickup your one of a kind training shirt, training schedule, and $15 Fleet Feet Sports coupon.
  • Meet Coach Leigh at 8am at the front door of Fleet Feet. 
  • Don't forget a water bottle and a yoga mat or towel. *Please note for Wednesday evening workouts, a headlamp or flashlight is mandatory for participation.
  • Bring a friend! There is still space in training.
  • We will be walking, run/walking or running 1 mile at this first workout. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear and prepare to be active. 
  • Stay after the workout for Fleet Feet's first annual Resolution Rally from 9am-11am at the store. Make 2017 your healthiest year ever!

Come Prepared: Are you ready for your first workout? Here are a few great things you will need to come prepared to the first workout.

Training Schedules: Hard copies will be available at your first workout. For anyone that likes an e-copy of the training schedule; here is one you can download

S.M.A.R.T. Goals: Setting goals is an excellent way for runners/walkers to stay motivated and to make sure they stay consistent. When choosing goals, it helps to use the SMART principle and set goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. Here are basic rules to follow when you're setting your running goals.

Session Mantra: Each session of No Boundaries we have a word or mantra to focus on throughout training. This session, we want you to Be Brave. Each week you'll see quotes about bravery as well as discussions with your coach on how you can break out of your comfort zone and Be Brave! 

Brooks "Run Happy" Tip: Studies show that working out with a group can more than double your chances of success. A social setting can increase our motivation, exercise frequency and challenge us to push harder. Improve your chances of success this session- grab a friend to join you in training and reap the benefits!
