S.M.A.R.T. Goals: Setting goals is an excellent way for runners/walkers to stay motivated and to make sure they stay consistent. When choosing goals, it helps to use the SMART principle and set goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. Here are basic rules to follow when you're setting your running goals.
Session Mantra: Each session of No Boundaries we have a word or mantra to focus on throughout training. This session, we want you to Be Brave. Each week you'll see quotes about bravery as well as discussions with your coach on how you can break out of your comfort zone and Be Brave!
Brooks "Run Happy" Tip: Splash in the puddles! Don't be afraid of a little rain. Channel your inner child and enjoy the benefits of working out in the rain! *bonus- you get a shower at the same time!
