Come Prepared: Are you ready for your first workout? Here are a few great things you will need to come prepared to the first workout.
S.M.A.R.T. Goals: Setting goals is an excellent way for runners/walkers to stay motivated and to make sure they stay consistent. When choosing goals, it helps to use the SMART principle and set goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. Here are basic rules to follow when you're setting your running goals.
Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op Healthy Eating Recipes: As the official No Boundaries Nutrition partner of 2017, Sacramento Natural Food Co-op wants to make sure you have all the tools you need to eat healthy all week long. Try out these Whole Wheat Carrot Muffins for a quick take-and-go breakfast or post-workout snack. They are loaded with fiber to keep you full with the perfect hint of sweet and spice to ensure you'll make these again and again.
Brooks "Run Happy" Tip: The #1 way to ensure you feel your best while walking or running is to have the perfect shoe for you. If you haven't already, stop by Fleet Feet any time to get fit for a great shoe that not only fits your foot size and shape, but also takes into account how your feet and body move. Aches and pains?
