Workout Times and Locations

  • Tuesday, November 24th @ 6:00 pm - William Land Park, near Doc Oliver Field- click here for directions
    • Don't forget a water bottle or hydration belt/pack. 
    • A yoga mat or towel is great for our stretch and core routines after the workout.
    • It will be dark during your workout so bring a headlamp or flashlight and reflective gear.
  • Saturday, November 28th @ 7:30 am- Rio Americano High School: 4540 American River Drive  - click here for directions
    • Don't forget to bring water and a yoga mat or towel.
    • 1 mile assessment this workout. 
    • It may rain this weekend so bring an extra pair of clothes to change into after your workout just in case.

Proper Pacing: Pacing can be confusing. How fast is too fast? Am I moving too slow? The key is to find the pace that works best for you and your workout. Here are a few tips and tricks to finding your pace.

Your Pace Chart:  You can create a personalized pace chart with our Fleet Feet Sports pace calculator after your 1 mile time assessment on Saturday. 

Running In The Dark: Without a doubt the most important step in the transition to running or walking in the dark revolves around personal safety. No single workout is worth risking your overall health or well-being for. Proper planning should allow you to get in your workout with minimal risk. Here are some tips to help.
