Workout Times and Locations

  • Tuesday, December 1st @ 6:00 pm - William Land Park, near Doc Oliver Field- click here for directions
    • Don't forget a water bottle or hydration belt/pack. 
    • A yoga mat or towel is great for our stretch and core routines after the workout.
    • It will be dark during your workout so bring a headlamp or flashlight and reflective gear.
  • Saturday, December 5th @ 7:30 am- Sunrise Boulevard location: 11211 Gold Country Blvd., Gold River Executive Center  - click here for directions
    • Don't forget to bring water and a yoga mat or towel.
    • It may rain this weekend so bring an extra pair of clothes to change into after your workout just in case.

Training Topics

Proper Form: Proper form can make all the difference when it comes to feeling good during your workout. Here are some running form basics that will help keep your workouts safe and effective by building your technique from the ground up.

Working Out in the Rain: We know that El Nino is coming In fact, don’t let this stop your workout! it is time to embrace the idea of running or walking in the rain. It is one of the few sports you can continue to do outside – rain or shine. Check out these tips for dressing in adverse weather.

Star Wars Fun Fact: George Lucas came up with the name R2-D2 while filming American Graffiti. A member of the sound crew asked him to retrieve reel #2 of the second dialogue track, which in the parlance would be, “Could you get R2-D2 for me?” 

What's Happening in Training

Proper Form Clinic: December 5th at 7:00 am. Join your coaches for our quick form clinic prior to the workout. This a must for first time trainees and a great refresher for returning trainees.

Practice Costume Run: Our workout on December 19th will be our Practice Costume Run. If you plan on running the race in a costume, it's a good idea to practice. Here's your chance!
