Workout Times and Locations

  • Wednesday, March 22 @ 6:30 pm- Cavitt Middle School, 7200 Fuller Drive, Granite Bay (workout directions)
    • Don't forget a water bottle, yoga mat and headlamp. It will get dark towards the end of the workout. 
  • Sunday, March 26 @ 7:30 am - Confluence, Old Foresthill Rd, Auburn, CA 95603 (workout directions)
    • Don't forget a water bottle, electrolytes and fuel and yoga mat or towel. 
    • Carpooling is HIGHLY recommended. Parking is limited.

Wildlife on the TrailMountain lions, snakes, and bears - oh my! The amazing part about being out on the trails is you will most likely see some sort of wildlife while you are out there. So what do you do if you come across one of Mother Nature's creatures? We have the answer!

Running in the dark: Even if you've been on a certain trail a hundred times before, it looks and feels different in the dark. Without a doubt the most important step in the transition to running trails in the dark revolves around personal safety. Here are some tips to help. 

What's the Scoop on Socks?: It’s a widely known fact that wearing the right running shoes is important for every runner; however, making sure that you have a good pair of running socks is just as important. Here's why!

Carpool: Parking can be very limited at many of our training locations. We highly recommend carpooling. We will provide a carpool signup sheet at training for you to connect with others in your neighborhood.

Trail Heads Escape!: Fleet Feet Sacramento announces their first ever trail running camp! You won't want to miss this amazing experience, May 19-21 at Michigan Bluff. All levels welcome! 

Poppy Pass: Many of our training locations will have pay-for parking. One of the best ways to avoid these fees is to purchase a California State Poppy Pass. There will be a few opportunities where Ranger Pat will come to a workout to sell Poppy Passes. You may also purchase these online or at the Park Pass Sales Office located at 1416 9th Street, Room 144, Sacramento, California. When you purchase local- the money stays local!
