Yoga For Runners

Need a little TLC after your run, race, or competition? This FREE all-level yoga class is designed for runners looking to stretch tight muscles, rejuvenate joints, and develop self-care recovery skills. This class will help increase your flexibility, breath capacity, balance, and core strength so you can perform better, experience less soreness, and reduce your risk of injury. All are welcome. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

When: September 27, 2016 
Where: Fleet Feet Sacramento, 2311 J St.  
Time: 7-8:30pm. Class is 75 min long with extra time allotted for questions.

About the Instructor - Cynthia Akey 
As a 200-hour Yoga Instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience, Cynthia Akey leads alignment-based, accessible yoga classes that balance effort with ease. She encourages conversation, individual discovery, as well as offers opportunities for participants to personalize the practice. Also an ACE-certified Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach, she presents functional aspects of yoga and breathing techniques that improve body awareness, increase flexibility, and reduce every day stress.
