Icebreaker Triathlon
IS THIS YOUR YEAR TO TRI? Coached by XTERRA champion Jamie Whitmore, Fleet Feet Tri training jump-starts the Tri year with training for the Icebreaker Triathlon and the Granite Bay Duathlon. This 8 week training program will prepare participants for the ICE BREAKER Triathlon Distance: Swim .5 miles – Bike 13 miles – Run 4 miles. If the swim sounds just too cold, you can train for the Duathlon - 4 mile run, 13 mile bike, 4 mile run. If it's your first tri or you want to get faster, Fleet Feet Sports Tri Training is the place to TRI!
ICEBREAKER TRI TRAINING
- First group workout: Saturday, February 18th at 8 am
- Tuesdays at 6pm along the American River Trail and William Land Park (run)
- Wednesdays at 7:30 pm at Rio del Oro Racquet Club
- Saturdays at 8am along the American River Trail (bike/run)
- Goal Event: Icebreaker Triathlon (training does not include race entry)
- Registration: $255 per person - ![]()

SUGGESTED LEVEL OF ACTIVITY PRIOR TO JOINING THE PROGRAM
- Currently able to run or run/walk a minimum of 2 miles
- Currently able to swim non-stop for 50 yards
- Currently able to bike non-stop for 10 miles

KICK OFF AND INFORMATION NIGHT
Learn more about Icebreaker Tri Training on Wednesday, February 1st at 7 pm at Fleet Feet J Street. If you are a registered participant, you will pick up your training packet, schedule and learn what to expect. If you just want to learn more, come on by, ask questions and then decide if you want to register. All are welcome!
